What is ABS? This is a kind of raw material, which has good impact resistance, low temperature resistance, high temperature resistance and chemical resistance. The use of ABS carrier belt leather also accounts for a large proportion in its own field, because Its characteristics of easy processing, stable product size, smooth surface, etc., will have very good results during processing. It is widely used in machinery, electronics, instrumentation and other industries. The specific performance can generally be from the following. Click to understand.
1. Thermal properties
The thermal deformation temperature of plastic ABS is 93-118 °C, and the temperature of the product after annealing can be increased by about 10 °C. ABS still shows a certain toughness at -40°C and can be used in the temperature range of -40~100°C.
2. Electrical properties
The electrical insulating properties of plastic ABS are good and are not affected by temperature, humidity and frequency. It can be used in most environments.
3. Environmental performance
ABS coating is not affected by water, inorganic salts, alkalis and other acids, but is soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorohydrocarbons, and corrosion such as acetic acid and vegetable oils can cause stress cracking. ABS has poor weather resistance and is prone to degradation under the action of ultraviolet light. After half a year outdoors, the impact strength is reduced by half.
4. Conventional performance
Plastic ABS is non-toxic, odorless, and has the appearance of ivory translucent, or transparent granules or powder. The density is 1.05" 1.189/cm3, the shrinkage rate is 0.4%" 0.9%, the elastic modulus is zgpa, and the Poisson's ratio is 0.394, The hygroscopicity is less than 1%, the melting temperature is 217237oC, and the thermal decomposition temperature is greater than 250oC.
5. Mechanical properties
ABS carrier tape has excellent mechanical properties and excellent impact strength. ABS can be used at very low temperatures and has excellent abrasion resistance, good dimensional stability and oil resistance. It can be used in bearings at moderate loads and low speeds. The creep resistance of ABS is greater than that of PSF and PC, but less than that of PA and POM.
